Biography	Mona Bausone is a homeschooling mom of three who has been training adults for over 15 years in software and soft skills for the last seven. She is MOS (formerly MOUS) certified in Office 2000, but currently teaches all versions up to version 2013 to adults at various computer schools in Richmond. As an independent consultant she has built databases, written manuals and trained clients such as US Navy and other government officials. Through the years, companies have recognized her ability to help today's adults with their writing, management, and interpersonal skills. She is an industry published author, has worked on several official historical projects, and other research assignments. Although teaching for corporations has been a blessing by allowing her to be at home with her children, Mona hears the Father's call to serve the children and families of other homeschoolers so that they are prepared for the future as knowledgeable and faith-filled leaders on earth.

Biography	Hope Cumbia home educated her four daughters for 19 years. She has a BS in Education from Oklahoma Baptist University and has taught and substituted in the public arena. She has given year end evaluations for home schooled students for the past 20 years. I feel blessed and honored to be a part of Arete while helping home educating parents teach their teen high school level science. I look forward to coming along side students and parents while teaching and encouraging during the journey.

Biography	Tammy Elrod has a B.A. in History from the University of Mary Washington, graduating Magna Cum Laude with Final Honors. She taught Social Studies in Dinwiddie County from 1985-1989. She then worked as a bank manager until her retirement in 2018. She and her husband, Bill, have homeschooled their three children since 2003.

Biography	Wendy Hale has a B.A. in English from Mary Washington College, Summa Cum Laude. She was an English instructor for Spotsylvania County Schools from 1988-1995. She taught her own four children at home from 2000-2017 and partnered with Arete Christian Academy as a board member, parent, and tutor since its founding in 2005.

Biography	Fran Hall has taught all levels of Latin from elementary, middle school, to high school (Latin I-V) and homeschooled her four children. She received a B.A. in Classics from The College of William & Mary, an M.A. in Latin from the University of Ottawa, and an M.A.T. in Latin from Boston College. She and her husband are involved in Salem Baptist Church where she teaches Sunday School classes, assists with Children's church, and participates in the annual Bethlehem Walk. In addition to reading and cooking, Fran enjoys going on missions trips and learning about French and Italian culture.

Biography	Anne Marie Kegley has been a homeschooling parent since 2004. In 2010, she began teaching classes at homeschool cooperatives. She has a B.B.A. in Finance from the College of William & Mary. She has been using sign language for over 30 years and has served as an interpreter at her church.

Biography	Amy Kobb has been a homeschooling parent for seventeen years. She completed a B.S. in Education at Geneva College, a private Christian college in western Pennsylvania. It is her God-given desire to help other homeschooling families in educating their children through the upper grades. She also serves on the Arete board and as one of the on site facilitators.

Biography	Tricia McClintock has been teaching Spanish to homeschooled students in the Richmond area since 1995. She began her Spanish instruction as a child living in Panama and continued with the language, receiving her B.A. from Bridgewater College. She is involved in her church, Fairmount Christian, along with her husband and two children.

Biography	Michal has a B.S. in Education from VCU. After teaching elementary school for six years, she stayed home with her children and homeschooled for 13 years. In addition to teaching her own children a wide variety of subjects, she has taught in three homeschool co-ops, as well as a private school. She has taught math on all levels up to and including Algebra 2, using materials from several different publishers. She enjoys teaching children of all ages and has a desire to encourage them in their spiritual and academic growth.

Biography	Mr. Sward holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (New York Polytechnic Institute) and a Master's Degree in Physics (SUNY at New Paltz). He has had a total of 34 years in industry, having been a factory worker rebuilding automobile parts, a materials development technician in the flame spray industry, and an engineer for the semiconductor industry, mostly building computer chips. Since 2010 he has taught Physics courses at J Sargeant Reynolds Community College. "I like teaching Physics and Math and I like to help people learn. Also, I think that it is important that many people become skilled in math and physics, and that others get some experience in the kind of thinking that is used in those subjects, even if they later apply it to something else. I also know that each student is different and comes into a class with different strengths. I like to work with students knowing that the next appropriate step might be a little different for each one."
